The 糖心vlog会员 Massage Therapy program is a 636-hour course designed to prepare students to become massage therapists. A high school diploma or GED is required to enter the program. This full-time, intensive course covers Intro to Massage Theory & Fundamentals, Kinesiology, Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Pathology, Ethics and Business Practice. Students will learn to complete a full-body, Swedish Massage and become familiar with massage for special populations (pregnancy, sports, lymph drainage, deep tissue). Each student will be required to complete supervised, full-body massages with a volunteer client population such as sports teams, the public, etc. as outreach and part of the training. At the end of the classroom training, a massage clinic will be held where students will perform full-body massages in a clinical setting for scheduled clients.
